<p>Open Cinema and Streetwise Opera are two leading organisations using film to develop the talents and opportunities of homeless and vulnerable people. Streetwise Opera’s Matt Peacock will present a selection of films and live performance from their recently-toured series Fables &#8211; A Film Opera, which brought together professional composers and filmmakers with 150 participants who have experienced homelessness. Open Cinema’s Christoph Warrack will present four short films made by its members with the assistance of accomplished filmmakers, including BAFTA-winner Martina Amati.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Come along to Shadwell Basin and have fun with all the family while raising money for a local charity! Try your hand at new activities including kayaking, climbing and high ropes, all in the centre of London. Just bring a change of clothes and a sense of adventure.</p>
<p>The activities are suitable for everyone aged 9 and over, no experience necessary. For kayaking or canoeing we ask that participants can swim about 25 metres and are confident in deep water.</p>
<p>Activities cost £8.00 for adults and £4.00 for children, or buy a family ticket for £20.00 (2 adults &amp; 2 children).</p>
