BIG ADVICE DAY

Big Advice Day 2021 is coming! Tuesday 15th June will see volunteer experts donating free one-to-one advice to small charities by telephone or web conference, with sessions covering the issues that matter to that charity. There will also be a series of informative live webinars available for attendees.

Bookings to receive one-to-one advice on Big Advice Day are now closed. You can still submit pending queries via the Advice Hub, which will be reopening in July. Queries submitted will be matched with an advisor when the Hub reopens.

A Beginner's Guide to Cyber Security

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) recently launched the Cyber Aware Campaign for small organisations. Cyber Aware is the government’s advice on staying secure online and protecting your organisation from cybercrime. Join us for this session to learn about six ways you can improve your online security, from managing passwords to backing up your data. This will also be an opportunity to learn more about the products and guidance on offer by the NCSC and a chance to asks any questions you have about cyber security. The NCSC is the UK’s national technical authority on cyber security for the public and private sector. It was established in 2016 to provide a unified source of advice, guidance to make the UK the safest place to live and work online.
